I was writing a post in General Discussion when I realized I have never commented on this.
I have a really hard time hitting ANYTHING with a blaster from a gunner position in a tank. Missiles I know tend to fly at where you were, not where you want them, but blasters should have NAILED the infantry that I have seen so many times. Yet I can't seem to find a hitbox.
I'm reasonably certain it's not my aim (I have had multiple opportunities to check this, moving and sitting still).
Is this a known thing? |

dunno if ccp knows, but they broke all blasters in 1.4
small blasters are especially worthless. Not exaggeration. |

They certainly hit less than they did before, but contrary to what Ngrurthos implies, they can still hit and are still very deadly. |

Gotta disagree with you. I have made some focused efforts at being a gunner in a tank with a blaster since my last post; and once in a while, I can hit. Once. It's doing lots of damage when it lands, sure, but it absolutely is not targeting what it should be.
A clever teammate ran in front of the tank that I was gunning for while being chased by a stupid enemy; they danced around right in front of me, measured in centimeters, not meters, and I actually burned out the gun twice trying to hit that guy.
Some of that would be me, but not all, and not that long. No way. |
