It would be extremely nice to be able to see who's online in my contacts list if perhaps I'm looking for people to squad up with, or maybe send a message or whatever.

This also helps corporations when it comes to deciding who to boot for inactivity, if a corp gets into that sort of thing.

It's clear this is the direction you want to go, seeing as you installed the Watch List and Last Online in the contacts. Another case of a simple request that we as players shouldn't have even had to make a thread about.

I dont think it should differ if they are in your corp or not.

Actually helps quite a bit for recruiting and working with folks outside your corp. The "last online" tab actually needs to work as well while they are at it.
