In my opinion, capture the flag is the ultimate combination of shooter and sports. Essentially, it's football or rugby with guns. If you ever played the CTF mode on Warhawk, then you know that within that game mode lies boundless potential for fun, drama, and mayhem. It would simply be an amazing addition to Dust 514!

How about this IWS, a "Recovery" mode, each team has an important piece of tech and the other team has to steal it whilst protecting their own piece of tech? |

What's your take? I agree, I know this is nothing like Battlefield, but CTF was loads of fun in BF3. This would also give Dropships more use, and give Scouts a more important role. |

The only problem I see is, unless you have static maps, CTF isn't too feasible on most of the maps we have, since they're too big and it would take forever to find the person with the 'flag' or to even get to them. Unless your whole team runs scouts + dropships.
Or limit CTF to 'small' maps, or one side attacking and one defending, in a 'bomb' mode. Actually, thinking on it, it might be better than straight up CTF. One side defends an outpost/city and the other side carries a 'bomb' to destroy certain objective(s). |

Capture the flag would fit better in the gladiator arena that will be implemented in the future. As others have stated, the current maps that we have are too large to run it. One possibility would be using the new large socket of the research facility as the map would be interesting. The multiple levels could make for run battles of capture the flag. |

There would be no need. Corps would keep their intel on anything sealed into a vault or something, which might make a really good PVE mission. Rather, how about a transport gamemode. One team has to get X item across the map. Team B has to grab it and take it to their base. So one team starts with it (maybe a person that can't get shot?), and the other team has to grab it. Would be better imo. |
