I would like to sincerely welcome you all to Black Phoenix mercs recruitment page .
BPM are a newly formed corporation . the majority of our current player base are the elite players from some of league of infamy alliance's best corps ( Warravens, Trans World Operations ) along with some friends we have picked up along the way . most of us have played together for the past 6 months , quite a few have been playing since close BETA , .several of our ex warravens members where paramount in winning this years fansite skirmish award which included a free trip to Fanfest 2013 . we hope to build another great website ready for next years title . www.edu-gaming.comOur FPS origins go back mainly to MAG, Battlefield(PC) & Call of duty . We find our members are pretty balanced across both north america and europe , we welcome applicants from all time zones , but we are strongest in both the fore mentioned areas .Our players range from early 20's up .... But even our younger players show great maturity in battles of importance , we know how to have fun in public matches , but when it comes to factional and planetary conquest we know how to put our game face on . Good skill levels and a hard working team ethic are required . We aim to be competent at both PC and Factional , we are currently discussing which faction we wish to fight for , as you can guess this is a topical debate . but we will choose to fight for a faction at some point soon by a member vote . At present our PC involvement is restricted to weekend attacks due to both time zone differences and work commitments . we have the ability to field a well respected team , but with the addition of 5 to 10 PC ready players we will be able to cover 1 or both time zones during a weekday basis . Our corporation has a great work ethic , we never quit and never surrender our clones will fight to the end , no matter who or how overwhelming the opposition .A positive attitude is required .
We have close links with molon labe and Anonymous , and will back them in any fight . PC matches will not be hard to come by .
When joining all applicants will be asked to submit what fittings and equipment levels they are at , this is simply due to the fact that we will not deploy someone who we feel is not ready or does not have the right gear for the match he is entering . we also hold PC matches at advanced level against our allies for training purposes .
What we ask of our applicant
First and foremost would be our sense of community , we have a diverse group here at BPM coming from various cultures our conversations can be as much fun as our game time needless to say racism of any kind will not be tolerated .
Second. we only want active/commited players , we always aim to win and intend to grow in strength , not numbers.
We are looking to recruit players who are looking to step into factional , and PC therefore a minimum skill requirement of 5,000,000, SP is favoured , but not essential , we would advise beginner's and low SP players to look at some of the great starter corps , like Dust University , unknown killers or Hells gate inc .
Must be specialized into your role! To be a competitive player having skill points all over the board will hinder your survivability and make you weaker overall. Jack of all trades, master of none
Communications . it would be preferred that applicants have a mic and the ability to communicate in a reasonable manner during game , communication is the difference between winning and losing .
18+ we are a mature corp .
Must have a positive attitude! A lot of our members are friends in real life so we are drama free and will do anything necessary to keep it that way.
All applicants must hold an induction interview with one of our designated officers, it would be preferred if you spent a little time squading up in our public channel before applying .
Restrictions
Newly created characters(clones must be 1 month+) will not be accepted .
Corp hoppers are not welcome , players who have exceeded 5 corps need not apply

I played a match vs them in FW yesterday. Chewy and his squad were impact makers on the team and exhibited above average discipline using squad tactics and pubstomped effectively. Their efforts were primarily responsible for the victory.

For everyone who is interested of our corporation structure..... You are the voice of the corporation. We only have a council where if things cannot be agreed upon within the corporation than this council gathers, brings up both the pro's and cons and also brings up what everyone has said and takes the time to discuss and figure out the right actions. Everyone is voted into positions within the corporation, making it a PURE democratic corporation. Who else has this structure ? As far as I know, only us..
If there is something you want within the corporation we make it happen (to the best of our abilities)

We do not have the 'military ranking' structure... As I said, everyone else has the voice and the council was voted for when people cannot make the decision than the council steps in and decides what would be best.... As for the new role system everyone is elected and voted for those roles.

1. Badgers live in complex underground burrow system called GÇÿsettsGÇÖ that they dig themselves. Some can be centuries old, as can the regular paths badgers use above ground!
2. A family group of, usually around six badgers live in each sett. Setts have a number of rooms or GÇÿchambersGÇÖ some for sleeping in others for having young in. There are a number of tunnels leading to the outside world. The largest sett in Britain was found to extend over 15x35m and had 12 entrances.
3. Badgers are incredibly clean and will not defecate (poo) in their sett GÇô they have special latrines (communal toilets) comprising of shallow pits placed away from the setts on the edge of their territory. They will not bring food into the sett either.
Unlike dogs and foxes, badgers have five toes and very powerful, long claws, particularly on the front feet.
4. Badgers will eat several hundred earthworms every night, but also love insects, bluebell bulbs and elder berries - you can often find these bushes growing near to the setts.
5. Badgers have a keen sense of smell and can dig down for rabbit nests and grubs under the surface.
6. Because they have very thick skin and long claws they are one of the species that can kill and eat hedgehogs!
7. Badgers are protected in the UK by the Protection of badgers Act 1992 and schedule 6 of the wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. It is classified as a species of conservation concern by the UK Biodiversity Action Plan. They are listed under Appendix III of the Bern convention.
8. Although they are protected in the UK, badgers are under threat of being killed in large numbers in a misguided attempt to control TB in dairy cattle.

We are all about skilled Team based Tactics not Zerg stomp tactics ( though sometimes it happens.... cause its fun )

hi , i only started this game last week . i came out of the academy with a kdr of 3.44 from an assault rifle . i came on here looking for a corp and thought this guy's where quite funny so i joined they're open chanel , and squaded with them. although i don't have the skill points to do the big games they offered to let me join .

I'm having a lot of fun in FW. It seems to be slowly raising the game of the blueberries and the red dots which is awesome.
There's been some QQ about this build for sure, but I'm pretty excited about the direction the game is headed.

Just went up against that Nukem fellow in a Fac and man he just kept slaughtering me with his standard HMG, and I belive he was cheating cause he was moving so fast!!! I was like whooah man,
but the squad he was in seemed to be very organized and like a well oiled machine, had to come find you guys and give some props. he was dropping some nasty eve orbitals,
exept badger he sucks, he was like 15th place with his proto gear i think he was running his Thales for a while too... hmm |

I had no reason to since i dont run Sentinel suits in PC, but I need to for the green bottles my scout uses. Only until i hit lvl 5 though, then its back to Min for the HMGs lol.

Most guys seem to know what they are doing and do so efficiently. I haven't had any problems with anyone (yet :P) and overall they are a fun bunch of guys to play with!

If there is ever a problem to arise, we always fix it asap. We listen to our members as they are the ones who make the corporation.. We will be running corporation events within a few days and if you are wanting to get into them just to have some fun and laughs with us at BPM make sure you join our pub chat BlackPhoenix514 as we will post in the chat when we are starting.
We have a wide variety of players from different areas and different skill levels. We try to focus their skills on what they are best at and help them be the best they can be.
We also have some eve support within our corporation, but our alliance has a great number above. In any PC battle we have, you bet your ass our Eve pilots will be there.
If you are interested make sure you are applying with your sp and why you want to join. As for Eve pilots, we are recruiting ones that have an API key. But will be honest, still learning things on Eve (myself) but getting the hang of it.
