Last night, I got bored and decided to follow a Maddy around with my BDR-5 Rep tool. As it stopped to shoot some reds, I decided to perch myself right in front of it so the pilot could see who was healing his tank. He then decided to retreat and I somehow got "stuck on" the Maddy.
Wherever he drove, I was pushed alongside with him. It didn't matter if he was backing up or turning, my character was glued to his tank. Realizing I couldn't be pushed off, I stayed idle, holding down R1 for the entire duration of the match as the Maddy did its business.
If I am able to replicate this, I will devote an entire week to being a vehicle medic. I am sure HAV drivers wouldn't mind, and if anyone else is willing to try this or has done this, please share your experiences. |

Its probably easier if you invest in a LLAV. oh, and remote/transporting systems. |

The only time I read about someone using an LLAV for vehicle repairs the HAV drivers complained that the LLAVs tended to block their escape and cause them to die. HAV drivers seem to beat even me in being lone wolves.
I wonder how well remote repair works from dropships.

If you try it you get shot from the sky because you pretty much have to hold still, then you crash into the tank and damage it. |

I just hate the camera jerks and that terible sound when the tank is draging you around liek a pet. |

Yes, the work the sound team has put into the game is impressive! Although it doesn't sound as good as the battlefield series, its still very impressive!
Recommendation: Invest in some headphones and crank the volume up.

I can't imagine playing without sound. I find it critical for tactical awareness. |

I mostly play with the sound off but that is because I have 2 TV's set up in my game room...
the wife watches her shows on one and I play games on the other...
when she is in there, I give her the gift of sound....... |

It gets easier to rep vehicles with a dropship with practice and an assault dropship; Just point the center dot directly on the tank and it'll lock on quickly. |

Well considering that BRD-5 reps 112HP/s that almost acts as a Heavy IG-L(117.42HP/s /w minimum skills and 131.1HP/s with max skills) repper in tank.
What is good about is is that there isn't cooldown cycle and reps land once every second as opposed to tank reppers that rep once every 3s. You just need to be alive and repping. |
