R 0 N 1 N, is a CORP in which I personally/ few others will train newer players in the ways of Scouts and with weaponry in Shotguns/Snipers/Assault/Infiltrating. This group is a more 1 on 1 Bushido type of training where a Mentor will ONLY have up to 1-2 students at a time in order to properly train and grow their knowledge of the way of Scout/Weapon. The courses are free of charge to enter but there will be a 5% surcharge after each battle. We also have tenets that we go by:
Courage
Rectitude
Benevolence
Respect
Honesty
Honor
Loyalty
Our Mentors thus far:
Lightning xVx - Scouts/Shotguns
SniperAssassinV2 - Snipers
We are still new and growing, but are willing to contribute to the community.
NOTE*: You DO NOT have to be a Scout to join, we also welcome all kinds of players. But primarily focus on Scouts. |

What timezone are you guys in and what time are most of the members usually on? Would there be more mentors to train more scouts? Do you have a channel I can join? I'd like to get to know the guys a bit more and get some brush up on some scout skills. |

1.) We are primarily EST.
2.) Soon but we are waiting for one of our other brothers Travi Zyg (Nova Knifer) to return. So thus far only 2 mentors.
3.) We DO NOT have a channel for people to join for the cheer fact that this school is for Private study, not public.
4.) And any/every scout question that you have should be saved for when you are in R 0 N 1 N, so you can better understand the question yourself. |

You do realize that most of these students don't have even have above 5 million skill points? When both the students and I feel that they are ready, then we will go from there. |

Hey, my brother is currently looking for a scout teacher. He has a 6 mil SP alt he's been using for scout training. Come 1.8 he has a 10 mil character he'll be devoting entirely to scouts, and needs a scout teacher.

Well, I've been running scout but only just got more into the ninja shotty scout play before this patch made it the FOTM. I think I need some pointers on staying out of LoS. Seems I always run face to face into the enemy.
I think I'll need to join up. I'll apply in-game with my scout Operative 1174 Uuali.

These guys are good. I hate to think what they are like with the cloaks. To be honest some of them probably dont even need cloaks, they already appear behind you like ninjas. |

Is this corp still running? If so, have someone mail me ingame. I'm interested, but I won't be checking back here regularly.
I've already gotten over 1500 wp in matches lonewolfing as a cloaked shotgun ninjahacker and over 900 wp lonewolfing as a sniper. I dabble in Blastrugars. I'd like to become more proficient as a scout in general, but I rarely see R0N1N guys in matches so I dunno if this is still active or not... |

Anyway, thanks for pointing me toward the Barbershop. Saw it the first time I looked at the forums, but had forgotten all about it 
Sucks that R 0 N 1 N is checking out of the perpetual corporate-sponsored warfare, but since I wanted DUST to be on PC anyway (playing Eve since 2007), I'm not going anywhere. Especially not since I'm getting into ADS this week, and likely ADV scout suits by next week.
CCP should do a "Sorry we bungled fanfest; this week's SP pool cap is at one million!" special event. |
