According to the latest CPM Activity report, it sounds like CCP are basically doing nothing Eve-Dust-link-wise on the current 'roadmap'. So sadly I wouldn't expect anything until well into 2014. |

I hear the plan is for us to basically be ground forces for everything eve.
If your enemy out classes your fleet, take the nearby planet and fire on the enemy fleet!
Capitals or Warships giving you jip? Board them disable the ship!
Found an ancient alien ruin send a couple of mercs to bring out the goods!
Wanna clear an area to build on, send mercs to clear it out.
wanna capture an enemy infastructure? Mercs again!
Factional Warfare will give bonuses to loyal players!
And PC should become a little more eve dependent, imo!! |

I wish FFS that they could think in incremental steps at times.
Putting together a simple "market" that crosses the borders would add a hell of a lot to the "atmosphere" of the game. It would make it a lot easier to see this linkage slowly expand -- and have both sides accept the other as having something to offer to the other if done right.
At the moment EVE players consider us a waste of CCP's resources and people here keep suggesting we take over their ships or some other crazy nonsense. |

That's a smart move by CCP. Worry about getting new players and not worry about something that they wouldn't know/understand/care about once they start playing. |

I'd suggest that an appropriate and meaningful form of linkage would act as content that is otherwise hard to find in the gaming world. It would probably get mention from time to time in the gaming community and it would certainly provide meaning to some of the folks already here. |

Yeah, I mean if they created another revolutionary link between the games, i'm sure it would definitely be recognized.
In turn it would keep us satisfied and draw in the interest of other gamers. |
