last time they added foliage our view distance was cut to half or less as infantry and tanks could only see reliably 50-100meters

if they add trees i imagine we are going to have to get within slapping distance to see each other.



please dont add trees, CCP has proven it cant handle implementing simple buses without messing up the game.

So what you mean is that we should have flat surfaces and no textures so the game run smooth, strange other make it happend in their games.... they must do somthing else right. Get a grip if they cant add trees and vegitation and rain they are doing something wrong, the request from the OP is just legitime, CCP make it happend.

unlike other games, CCP adding bushes in a 10m radious around you broke rendering so badly that we can no longer reliably see things we should be able to see, and untill they fix that problem (that they have been ignoring and completly silent about for 3 months) they should really be expanding to even more demanding forms of vegitation.

every patch that they attempt to make the game look prettyer makes the view distance worse.

i vote they fix rendering before they make the game prettyer, because every time they make the game prettyer people can see less and less.

CCP has proven they cant make the game prettyer without breaking it, so no they shouldnt be adding trees untill they can fix everything they messed up by adding bushes and nolen-esk light effects

That is gorgeous. But it's also a relatively small volume if space. I think the fundamental issue CCP is struggling with in DUST is that size costs.

i agree with this, but its not just about the trees, but the animals as well. and bewing able to enter buildings would be nice for enviroment to.! :)

Signed. We need simple tree like structures for each race. You could explain why there are "Ammarian" trees in Amarrian space easily by saying they transplanted them 100s or 1000s of years ago to their planets, you could do the same for the other races as well.

The Caldari could have pine tree like ones because they came from a cold and harsh planet.
The Gallente could have very simple that look like this.
The Minmatar could have thick fern like trees or simple palm trees.
The Amarr could have palm tree or cyprus tree like trees.
