I probably missed something, or I didn't read about it that much, but I don't get the difference between it and skirmish. I mean, it takes longer for the battle to start. But I need someone to explain it to me, like if you get more money or SP. |

There is no point. It's a glorified pub match that gives a slight bonus to LP gain on the Eve side. |

People seem to try harder. It makes for more interesting fights than regular skirmish. |

It is easier to sync with squads to get more than one squad in the same game or on the same team.
More competitive than Skirmish.
Good for corps looking at practicing PC matchers. |

Each battle influences the wars in EVE so there is a connection. You just can't see it or profit from it in any way that is different from the public contracts. Some of the corps in EVE have mounted concerted efforts in DUST to help push the EVE side war.
Hopefully, FoxFour will improve this soon. |

Eventually they're gonna allow price discounts based on which faction is winning and add a faction shop or "loyalty rewards" and allow FW to affect the EVE universe. Dont know if they're keeping record of current FW wins/losses for when they fully implement it. |
