I (we) don't need a specific date.
An estimate would suffice. November, Winter, 1.6~1.8, etc.

Seems optimistic, but in terms of the workload, they should be sooner than SoonGäó.

I've been wondering about this myself. At some point, they told "art isn't the bottleneck". I can't imagine what IS the bottleneck, though. If they're giving the new suits bonuses akin to what the ones we already have are using, I can't imagine it would be difficult to implement them from a coding perspective...they already have 15 bajillion arithmetic modifiers to various stats via skills and modules, surely they're pretty good at implementing those by now.
So, what could it be? Is 'animation' separate from 'art', and a very time consuming thing? I'm pretty ignorant as to how likely a possibility this is.
Are there game design issues (as opposed to dev/coding issues) with the bonuses they want to give the new dropsuits? Round after round of internal balance changes and reworks until they can get them fun without breaking the game?
Anyone have any insights/wild conjectures?

There's been no new content over the last few patches, save for a few quality of life changes (for better or worse is up to you). I'm thinking that they're holding off on any new content until the winter expansion lands to make the expansion look much bigger than if we were to get sprinkles of new toys over the last few months. |

I actually don't have enough face or palm for the amount of facepalming this game makes me do sometimes :/
I mean...this is literally the most basic of basic content, and we have to wait almost a year after official release to get this stuff...
It's like ordering a cheeseburger only to get the cheese and the lettuce, with a coupon for the burger and bun come the holidays.

1.5 will mark ~6 months since Uprising and even longer since former management said "Soon, no Gäó"
If it's a marketing ploy...

If you think waiting a year is long think about those of us who have been here since beta have to feel.
Its like ordering a Pizza, when the Pizza delivery person shows up he hands you a lumpy piece of doe and says wait. You ask him where is the real pizza, but he ignores you. His only argument is its free deal with it. A months pass and you finally receive the sauce, watered down generic sauce, but hey its an improvement. Even more time passes and you receive word a topping is on the way, not sure what kind but at this time any will do. The day arrives only to be disappointed for there is no topping only a lame a** excuse saying they are having a hard time making a topping and to be patient. Months go by and you have given up on the pizza, but a letter arrives promising new toppings and even a faster time. A month goes by and you finally get a topping, well not really a topping more of a generic made in someones basement type topping, but you are so happy you hug it and squeeze it because you finally have a topping. A few days go by the topping is not working as promised and you want answers. The fans of the pizza scream at you for wanting answers and troll you none stop. How dare you question the pizza and you should be happy to have a pizza for someone somewhere have none. So you give up and throw the doe and topping away, swearing to never fall for this BS again. A few hours pass and with tears in your eyes you pull the doe out with the topping and promise to try to hold on just a little bit longer. Just as the tears on your face dries a letter arrives telling you there is not going to be any new toppings for another year. WTF, slamming the doe to the ground, F this as you scream and make your way to the forums to make everyone aware how disappointed you are, only to be trolled. |

To be fair, the game was "officially" released on 5/14. Not quite a year, but I still see what you're driving at. |
