The Sentinel Frames are, although slightly more, not much more tanky than the basic frames. They need to be more tanky in order to be a better defender. And I think I know how.
All of the suits should get a module built into the suit, and what it should do is give them a boost of raw HP for a certain tank. a little bit of resistance, or attack power, but in loss of speed.
Let's start with Amarr. Since they are dual tankers in Dust, they should get a slight bonus for both shield and armor, and a little bit of resistance for both shield and armor, but they should be barely movable, or not movable at all. It would be good to set up at one location with another one or two with some logi support, defend it until it's time to move up.
Next would be Gallente. They would focus on only armor, as they are the mostly armor tankers in Dust. They would get a moderate increase to the armor or armor repairers, and a slight resistance, but a lower speed. In this mode, it would still be faster than the Amarr and Caldari's, but slower than the Winmatar's. It would be good for being a vehicle protector.
Next up is Caldari. It should get a boost in shield, and shield resistance, and maybe even a longer range and higher accuracy rating on the weapons it's using., but having speeds although higher, close to Amarr's. It would be good for getting in a high spot and keeping them out of a area.
Lastly, Winmatar. It would get a slight shield HP buff, or a shield resistance buff, and more damage, with a slight reduction in speed. It should still move about the same. IT would be good for patrolling a area.

Well, not quite. See, a Siege module only gives you all of damage, resistance, and repair rate, but kills your speed completely, and has no variation between the races.. This would give you some different factors for each race, and doesn't completly kill your speed. |

This but I would also like to see a juggernaut type suit where it doesn't have an HP buff but instead can sprint in a straight line at lav like speeds but once it stops it cant sprint again untill stamina reaches full, this would allow a heavy to get up close and personal and make use of its high DPS weapons, with out being op as well as being a siegebreaker |

I don't think this would work out well, as an infantry suit who can run that can run that fast with that much armor could get real OP real quick. Plus, it doesn't even fit it's name and desc., as sentinels are the speedy types.
'lights cigar' fuck with me, and I'll melt your face off. Gallente forever!
