so i played quite a bit of PC for cronos when i was in SI but i didnt know anything about it, now im helping a smaller corp into the game and we want to do some PC. SO the main things i want to know - - reinforcement timer; how it works - how to successfully capture a district - how to successfully hold a district - where we should attack - where we should deffend
we dont want to get big into PC yet so we'll be avoiding almost all alliances unless they are very small
any other information would be appreciated |

id suggest going back and reading the patch notes when PC came out... would explain most.
just note the changes that have been made regarding clones, and auto re-ups
if you still don't know, read a tutorial..
o that's right, even that isn't in the game either |

So ill outlay what i believe the answers are;
- reinforcement timer; Its the time you will be attacked, every district has a 1 hour window in which it can be attacked, this is you setting the timer. Make sure its when most of your members are on AKA Prime time. - how to successfully capture a district? send as many clones as you can, preferably from a district you already own. If not clone packs. - how to successfully hold a district? by setting the reinforcement timer for when your corp is the most active, this should give you numbers to field a full strength team. - where we should attack? at your prime time - where we should deffend? at your prime time.
Hope that helps. |

First, I would recommend that you read this first:
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Planetary_Conquest
That will get you up to speed with the technical details of PC.
The other points are covered quite well by Guinevere. |

Do not purchase a district from them, or anyone else. Teamplayers will use their alt characters in other corps to re-attack you, take it back, flip it back to teamplayers and then try to sell it back to you. It's a scam. |

This is the only way to get your district. Fight for it, earn it, defend it.

Okay so from just reading over the wiki page, the only way to claim a district is if; A no one holds it or B you reduce all clones to 0 correct? It is better for my corp to take its first district as far from big alliance as possible so they will have less clones to attack with/ have to pay more for a stronger attack correct? Say the clone cap on my planet is 450, i can sell any number of those clones on my planet but one must always be there to hold the district, however this locks the district, but if i hit that 450 cap any clones generated after that are automatically sold and the district remains unlock correct? |

This doesn't answer all your questions, but you can also buy a district from someone willing to sell it. |

- how to successfully capture a district
A: bring good players or pay for people to fight for you most likely ull need around 120 mil+ before starting PC
- how to successfully hold a district
A: pay mercs to hold it and always make sure ur players r on just incase u cant buy anyone and if they have more than 100 clones after first attack they can attack u again
- where we should attack
A: where? someone u think u can beat and not on PFC if u plan on taking the district
- where we should defend
A: ummm ur districts? or get paid by others |

Funny. Even funnier considering I've never sold you a district. Please feel free to ask any and all customers of mine if anything like this has EVER happened.
the few of us with alts have those alts in our corp.
another nice try tho. I try to be nice and sell land to those that have the isk.

As stated above. NEVER BUY A DISTRICT FROM ANOTHER PLAYER. It's always a scam. Look at EVE's history and you'll get a good picture. |
