This should be in the feedback/request forum i know. But i think its quite the brilliant idea!. If it gets enough likes ill drop it in there as well.
Bit of Back ground.
So in EVE we have things called 'Drones' Which can be fitted to ships with a 'Drone bay'. There job is to protect you from all the nasty things New Eden Has to offer.
The Proposal
This leads me to my idea! For a new WP reward whilst in battle could we not have a drone ship in orbit ready to send in the drones for a strafing run of sorts? or some sort of over watch for 30 secs?! This would give other ships apart from pure turret ships a chance to get invovled! And mix things up using existing EVE assets!.
I mean id say start small with Acolyte,Hobgoblin,Hornet & Warriors to begin with. As they all have there own seperate damage types I can see this playing benefit as well.

EVE ships (drones included) can't fly in atmo. Atmo fighters are planned for the future, though. |

Yes, but thats not what im suggusting, this is an idea for another WP reward ALA COD(YUK!)killstreak reward. Not flying around in fighters, which i knew was comng at any rate, and should be a bunch of fun. |
