Hello, corp
My name is DRaven DeMort , and today have waited for 7+ hours to hear you guys fight just like we did when you guys fought and took-over that district with only 2 clones left, and that was awesome because even though I could not fight in it, I took part in it! even if I could only do so in silence, and that fine because even if I was not there there playing with you guys. . . I was there WITH YOU!
I was there pacing in my living room hoping you guys could pull if off, and you guys did IT! and that right there was a good feeling! It was like having your favorite football team win the Superbowl and I was part of that team : )
I know I am just a pilot, and can't offer much to the corporation in terms of kills or war points, and I understand that, heck. . . dropships are crap A.T.M, and you (QUICK) you pay my for my wings every time they get shot off out of your own pocket no less, and I would like thank you for that; but what is this this stuff about not letting your corp guys sit in on a game?
Like I said before I know I cant offer much to the corporation in PC, but I would still like to be part of this team even if I have to listen too the games like my grandpa did on his old 1950's radio set (we still have it).
A few minutes ago I talked to someone in the upper echelons in S.T.B, and I was disregarded, and that fine. . . I mean I was hurt mean don't get me wrong, but I understand that we have things to take care of in real life, and that this is just a game, and we for some are just Toon's voices coming out of speakers but we are real people too, don't just dismiss someone who really want to be part of this family (S.T.B) just because they might be drinking, remember I stood up just as long as you did just for the chance to hear and be part of this team even if it was just by proxy, and I was not given the chance to do so, I just sat here waiting for you guys to finish up but I stayed in for 5 hours in a silent room and waited for you guys to get out of two back to back P.C.s'.
It at might be dumb to some but I did not only hear what Quick had to say in that corporation meeting but I felt it, and it hurt when I was disregarded. If that is S.O.P for S.T.B out of match/PC when you have no other PC to fight, then let me go, because I don't leave family or battle buddies because they are family, and I would like to be part of yours, but you don't feel that way about me take the Tags.

You do realize there's only 16 folks getting into a PC match and they are super busy right before and right after a game. Chances are if you're just a derp pilot you're going to sit out on a lot of PC matches.
Is there anything else you can contribute other than flying? |

no i am just a pilot but like i said before i know pilots don't play a major roll, i would just like to listen.
P.S That BroDRaven is me, so just read what i said to really understand, but i do understand that dropships don't play a major roll in PC. |

Not sure what happened, wasnt there... but just to clear something up, open chats stopped when it came to light that it effected lag in the match. Dont take it personally.  |

Im not sure how it worked, but it was the actual chat itsself, number of people listening/speaking in the chat in the match. Normally Team chat or a closed chat is used for in game coms now.
Also we had a few issues with spies and the like in the larger chats.
Matches are recorded quite often, check our forums |

I hear ya but if no one but its the upload the messes people up, download are not to bad but if you have people on coms who are just listening it really does not make a big diff. its the uplings and other things on maps that need to be rendered that take alot of bandwidth

Good Morning Draven,
Whilst i would of prefered you did this in a private mail or on the corps FB page, I'll outline a few things;
Firstly, I appreciate your enthusiasm, its always nice when someone feels as strongly about a corp/family as the fellow members, sometimes peeps get left behind, but we will always be here to go over any problems you may have. If you were dis-regarded close to a PC match its because the FCs have alot on their plate, and if its going to be a tough match they need to make sure they have all of their ducks in a row and monsters on board.
Secondly, the chat channels when Corp battles are going on are moved to team chat, this helps us with lag, and ther people having frame rate issues. Plus for the paranoid, spys. Not sure why they didnt come back to channel after the fight, as i wasnt online.
Thirdly, your quite new to the corp, this will hinder your chances of playing in PC, as not many people have seen you play before. I mean ive never squaded with you, so I cant vouch for you in a PC match, get my point?
Lastly DS pilots arent really required at the moment, apart from the initial 'jihad'. So ask the guys running the show what they are lacking currently, i can give you a tip; PROTO Uplinks/AV.
So in conclusion mate, try not to get dis-heartend with not getting into matches, im sure there where other corpies looking for squad who werent in PC, make friends, build killer squads and live to fight another day.
