I confirmed last night with my Corp mates. This is not lag nor lag switching. can be reproduced on ds3 with difficulty, though I am positive it would be much easier on kbm and programmable controller. it is an exploit. Same exploit as melee glitch.
The solution seems simple to me. Just like active scanners have a cool down period and meter, all non automatic weapons should also have a cool down period and cool down meter based on that weapons RoF. With active scanners, doesn't matter what you do, if it hasn't cooled down, you can't use it. All weapons should act the same. An oversight, for sure. |

We heard him before we saw him ... it was so stinkin' obvious. Thump-Thump-Thump ... Boom-Boom-Boom Roughly 1/4 second lapse between shots.
They've found a way to bypass fire-rate cap on the MD. It's quite an entertaining obscenity to observe firsthand. Thankfully, it isn't commonly exploited. Yet. you do know this one in question isn't a hack, it is the normal ROF. You're saying the video I posted was normal RoF? No way. Has anyone tried something like a combination of melee/sprint reset to the fire rate? Kind of like the melee glitch? Could you maybe... fire-sprint-fire-sprint or fire-melee-fire-melee or fire-sprint-melee-fire-sprint-melee-fire?
This is exactly what we tried. Fire sprint, fire sprint, fire sprint. You can do it on a ds3 controller, but not easily. kbm and macro-controller are the ways to benefit from this exploit. |

Jep, I posted here that I was able to reproduce it, neglected to say how. My bad. |

Got it, missed that part i guess, i hate MD's though!
Gåæ This. Like they aren't pathetic enough, they have to have an exploit to make ez-mode brainless-mode.
ratamaq doc wrote: Jak, if you can reproduce it, let's cap some video tonight.
Doc, I'm game. Using a ds3 to reproduce it makes for some not very pretty footage, but it should be enough to silence the nay-sayers. We should capture the melee glitch at the same time. Two-birds-one-stone sort of junk and all that. |

i.e. shoot, reload, sprint, repeat. (I usually just mash all buttons at once, not sure what the exact combo is)
As fast as you can press the buttons you can fire, but as far as I know, it doesn't actually fire live rounds if you don't complete the firing animation for the mass driver.
!!! Shotgun glitch?!? not gonna lie, tempted to try this, but may be a little too tempted to incorporate into my play style! "must... not... cheat... must... not... cheat...". This exploit would render me a garbage player (more so) once they fix it though... even still, soooooo0000oooo tempting: I like winning. |
