This is more of a spit-balling of ideas that has boiled up over the past few days in regard to furthering the EvE - DUST link between the two worlds. I've been considering some of the niches that DUST mercenaries, with their Planetary Districts, could do that is both meaningful and not required of EvE Players.
My conclusion is this: Through DUST Mercenaries, allow EvE Players to side-step their Clone System.
Many EvE Players dislike this system. Especially, when they forget to renew their contract or buy the wrong Grade of Clone.
DUST mercenaries are in the business of creating hundreds of clones a day already through our PC districts. So, what if DUST mercenaries were able to stockpile ready made clones of the right 'grade' to EvE players?
For instance, EvE pilot A., buys or acquires 10 clones from his DUST buddies. He sets them up for his clone grade and lets them sit all in the same station (probably adjustable with Informorph Psychology). Much like pre-fitted ships in his clone bay. That way, when he gets podded and rushes back into battle without updating he doesn't lose, say, Fleet Command V immediately because one of those 10 clones he bought from his DUST bud covers that cost.
DUST buddy gets the money (or more) that he would have gotten from Genolution and the EvE player can neatly side-step a system they complain about anyway. |

Not being an eve player, I don't really know precisely what you're referring to, but I'm always pro more integration between the two games. +1 |

In how many languages do you want me to say no to this idea, unless their is a massive amount of isk that is used for the manufactoring of "special" clones for pilots. I say this because at the Nu level on your chart which you provided, it is 1.366 per clone and this I believe would be a low level clone compared to the more expensive ones that can cost 40-100million isk. An infusion of as you said 10 clones at the Nu level would be well over 11million isk in a single installment which could then be replicated far to quickly. The people owning the planets would always be in Proto suits and would always have the advantage in pubs without question for nearly all times. Since it would be sell 1 clone to a pilot and you would be able to buy an expensive tank, dropship or whatever else that corp desires. Which would make the entry into playing PC battles ungodly difficult for newcomers beyond what it already is.
To make this idea feasible more then 75% of the isk for these clones would need to go to development of the clones, especially on the top end of the spectrum along with maintence of facilities and so forth. While I do support the idea in what you are wanting to do in being able to sell a product to the EVE corps and pilots this would have to be monitored very carefully as EVE has hundreads of times more ISK in it then Dust does and could easily corrupt and destroy the DUST economy. |

tip for future: dont waste people's time by putting nothing much more in your subject line than "proposal". Use meaningful subject lines. Otherwise, it suggests that you are incapable of distilling your writing into meaningful chunks. in which case, it isnt worth reading.

I think its a good idea, pilot clones just have to be adjusted to the prices of the clones we have in Eve. But it could be a way to make some ISK for Dust players, and that is needed badly...+1 |
