Always have uplinks. Never not use uplinks and try to learn where each map's high grounds or strategic places to hold are. Put them there.
After that, carry hives, rep tools, needles or active scanners as your SP and situation demands. If I'm in a squad, I try to find out what kind of tank everyone is. Mostly shield tankers, I will go needle instead of rep tool. Armor is vice versa. Ambushes, I carry both and no nanohive.
If I'm playing with crap fits in a squad that isn't really tryharding, (most times) then I go uplink/hive/scanner. Being a good logi is knowing where uplinks need to be and how to herd the team towards things that need taking. |

Ok, there is no way you died 19 times, the only way that is possible is if you were just running bare bum through the redberries with a sticker above your anus that's says "insert here". Congrats on taking up the mantle of a logi man, being a true logi is a most honourable profession. |

I'm a scout but I have dabbled in the logi tree with alts and found that I'm actually pretty good at it. Then again all I really did was go from manipulating the enemy (scout) to manipulating my own team (Logi) which is quite fun to do but requires a strategic mind. Hats off to you yellow eyed freaks (take it as a compliment) many a merc would have much lower KDRs without your help.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |
