to have the places:
best, second best, third best and so on? i suppose, if we could establish it in PFC, but honestly, it'd be pointless because none of us would leave the red line and risk a death. If any rules to prevent that were put in place, then it'd only benefit armor blasters and that aint right.
well, the rules go as follows:
Rule 1: no tanker shall take advantage of incorrect rendering the other tanker is experiencing.
Rule 2: the maximum range the fighting can take place is at 200-300M, anything beyond that will result in disqualification of the runner.
Rule 3: there can be no outside help for either side, this is including but not limited to, AV, infantry and anything that can cause damage to you by anyone outside of the tourney.
Rule 4: anyone that is caught inside the redline will be automatically disqualified (you can go right next to the redline as long as the other tanker is less than 300M away from you).
Rule 4: when engaging blasters against rails, the maximum range is the blaster cannon's range, if the rail tanker goes beyond the blaster's range, he is disqualified.

(more rules will be added) i appreciate the knightly spirit, but this is impossible. nobody knows exactly where their redline is and nobody can tell if someone else is having rendering problems. there are just too many variables to enforce these things so it is best to keep the rules black and white, with no room for misinterpretation. However, there must be some sort of honor system in place that basically says, "if you are a redline camping *****, then you suck and nobody will accept you as a good tanker." Makes it a lot more simple, and likely, more effective, as being called a redline camping ***** is the worst thing you can call a tanker....except a tank scrub. that is even worse. So, perhaps if we can all agree to not be redline camping, peekaboo playing, bitches, then everything will be okay.
simple fix to the rendering issue, everyone is on the same voice chat channel: "im not rendering correctly"...."hey, this tanker isn't rendering beyond that point, both of you need to get closer"
on the redline thing... someone needs to make a map ahead of time so everyone knows where both redlines are. |
