Dude, that's so Uprising 1.3.... come on, man.
You only show up on the TAC for your entire team if scanned by an active scanner. Sure, if you aim at a scout he shows up on YOUR tac-net... but only yours.....
As for finding me. First, you need to decide where to point your scanner. Then, you need to be content in the knowledge that it still won't pick me up due to my profile dampening modules and L5 profile dampening + L5 scout skills.

Honestly thats the whole point of a scout, moving across the battlefield undetected and gather intel on enemy movements or to harass the enemy undetected behind enemy lines.
The active scanner nearly negates both roles of the scout. The funny part is people could do this before 1.4 as well but with shared teamview nearly nobody really cared for the scanner. But with the removal of shared teamview active scanners now became a rather mandatory piece of equipment to detect enemies and now the true power of active scanning gets obvious including the impact on the scout class.
The active scanner always was the death of the scout role but with teamview it was not that necessary to field that thing. |
