I was just wondering how would you like to be able to customize your own armor colors. i had this thought the other day. i forgot to added the comment in the servey. i know that ccp pays attention to the forms. maybe if we raise enough posts about this mabye it will be added to the game. |

I was thinking about this earlier today GÇö changing suit skins could be a great way to get people to buy more AUR.
But I doubt it's a higher priority than finishing the features they've already promised, and it may be difficult or impossible to implement depending on how suits are textured.
Players have been begging for this in EVE for about a decade. |

You just know that there will be screaming/begging to get bright pink suit. And not only as a hilight color, but as a base color. :D gotta love free choise if enabled. |

CCP already has stated they want to do this. They called it the paint bucket I think and most likely would be AUR based |

I am guessing that they will have to fix all the lagging problems first. I like it when i get killed with my shields fully powered. |

Paint buckets on hold since they been worked 1.4. That was a sap move. |

In all honesty...would be a neat feature that I suspect quite a few folks would kick in a little Aurum for. Perhaps individual skinjobs for 1k AUR and the full paintbucket for 20K?
I think quite a few Corps would kick in for the ability to drop their logo on suits and vehicles.

I love the idea but would prefer that it did not cost AUR, mostly because i would like to see Coros doing up colour schemes and was you can't trade AUR it would be hard to make sure everybody was able to suit up to the corp colours. |

I would totally understand when something like that cost AUR.
Dust514 also need to make some money somehow and if this is a way to support the game, i would do it. (Of course when its worth for me.) ;)
What do we need to think of is that HOW this coloring system should be.
I wish that each suit would have 3 different parts that can be colorized.
And this is my idea how it should work:
1. Choose the behavior of your Coloration
First you have to choose one of your dropsuits in the fitting Neocom part.
Then Colorize:
-Business Model (Costs arround 10.000 AUR) and is choosed to make it able to colorize your whole Corporation. Members of the Corp are will be always able to choose between the Corp (Business) color or they own (Private 1,2,3 & Standart) colors.
-Private Model (Costs arround 200 AUR) and is choosed to make your own personal color sheme for every of your Dropsuits.
Once you have choose your colors, it will be safed forever on some slot which you can choose for any of your Dropsuits.
-Standart Model (For Free) sets your Dropsuit colors back to the normal colors.
2. Choose the color / or not 
-When you has choose Standart, the color of your Dropsuit sets back to the normal Color.
-When you has choose Business or Private:
You will see your choosen Dropsuit as a preview and then your start to colorize the **** out of it ;)
It explains by itself. Once you are satisfied your Press OK, pay the AUR and put the choosen colors on every Dropsuit you earn you want.
Thats how i suggest how it should be. I think 10.000AUR is a good Business prize for bigger Corps (50+ members)
Of course only the Corpleader would be able to do that or some officer. Maybe also a other Model for Alliances would be nice. ;)

CCP business plan:
1. Add vanity suits to sell for AUR.
2. Remove vanity suits and announce paint bucket for AUR to replace them.
3. Wait an undefined amount of time before adding said paint bucket.
4. ?

it would have to be one tier of suits. (perhaps the pirate class, ccp?) and it would have to be VERY expensive. if everyone can do it it's just normal. |

As perhaps unpopular with CCP - I would like to see something slightly different, gaining colors from salvage after matches, and being able to buy packs of colors or specific colors from marketplace with AUR, the colors/dyes would be reusable and changeable via neocon outside of battle.
Frequent players/high spenders have greatest amount of color options. CCP still makes money, dedicated players get options/sell extras for isk. |

I'd rather have a player market or all the racial suits/weapons, but this seems as if it would not take as much time to implement. |
