According to CCP Logibro aim assist has not changed since 1.4 deployed. The blueberries are getting smart and adapting. |

Um, increased lag causes problems with hit detection, friend. Your client registers the hit, but because of lag they aren't really there, so the hit doesn't detect on the server side, meaning no damage.
