No...we had a tank truce in 1.0 and it lasted a week....then PC hit and we all hated eachother again. I'm confident we can have a little ceasefire to get some QQ going.

PC is PC, payouts are large and some reimburse for losses. Pub matches are pub matches, and that should be where the truce is.

So many in the chat, so many squads going, all on that voice chat tab, with the truce in effect, soaking up friendly AV fire so the friendly red tank next to me can rep.

Wont it be hilarious if CCP manages to completely and totally break tanks to the core by some overlooked detail and crushes tankers dreams of being equal?

In my experience, the best of us cannot be taken down by one proto av. In fact, we can still manage a decent 13:0 with one against us. Now, with a good team (me, void, grodd, psychotic, Bob, and sample.......QQQQQQQQQ), itd take 12 proto av on team comma totake us out...and to counter that all we need is 2 good ssnipers to get the inevitable rooftop forgers. Yup. There will be QQ. Cannot wait.

Did I miss the slaughter of all these yummy tanks? Swarmies on standby! Which server/board you playing?

Until 1.6, the people will say "Oh look, an enemy tank. Someone will take care of it." or "Oh look, an enemy tank. I will take care of it."
Now imagine that you aren't a good player with over 10mil SP, and you notice that between four and six tanks are rolling around together. Even a vet should be a little wary. Multiple well-fit tanks is a good reason to assume that the fit is about to his the shan. Hard.

Played a domination yesterday with some tankers. Four of us, two blasters, one missile, one rail, all moving with the infantry. We came on like a wave and kept them redlined for most of the match. By the time we had to pull back because of all the swarms, it was too late anyway. Tanks en masse even now are a force to be reckoned with, as long as the drivers are good/smart.
