There is a very wide spread rumour that a global respec (AMAZING IDEA) will be released in the upcoming patch. A lot of the community including myself "need" to know if this is fact or fiction. can any Dev or Mod confirm please?

Don't hold your breath. Those rumors are to be considered false until proven otherwise. Besides, CCP made it clear back in May that there will be no more respecs. |

It's likely to be fiction, Reaper. CCP has already stated that unless there is a drastic change there will be no more respecs. |

I'm going to guess they'll cave on the respec thing for the release of the remaining suits and vehicles.
I'd even guess that Aurum respecs haven't been completely ruled out. If they were, they're probably back in discussion to generate a fresh stream of revenue. |

I heard there was a rumor that they were going to put in Kirk's Assault Rifle.
It will be a scoped, fully automatic assault rifle with the fire rate of a Balac's GAR but the fire power slight above the GEK-21.
Will come with a under-mount plasma launcher with a direct damage of 500 hp, splash of 217 hp and a radius of 5m.

I would say no, until all content is released and tested by us then nerfed buffed until nausea. I do not see a respec in the future for a good while. |
