I just want to say that a damage system really needs to be put in place.
A lot of the times, when I am using a weapon with slow RoF but high damage (Breach AR) kill steals sort of occur when some one pops up with SMG or Vanilla AR, they get the kill because the RoF allows them to place the last bullets between my slower shots.
Now people have suggested this before but I am not super-want-this-now. I'm just giving feedback on how the current kill system effects the slower RoF weapons. I also realize that there are more slow-RoF weapons than high RoF but the AR and SMG are pretty common. This isn't super pesky for me because my Breach AR doesn't go through a clip like a normal AR so I can just one shot wounded while high RoF guns are reloading. But still, support/niche weapons shouldn't be devoid of WP (which translates to SP you know) because they lack in but one area. |

Scramblers are also great for stealing kills. often times by the time my charge shot is ready to go the target has been wounded enough to just get blown away by the high alpha.
I have no regrets or remorse for any kill I've stolen that way. |

That is somewhat the reason I stopped using the breach AR. Not because of kill steals, but because of some 1v1s, The guy with the AR would out fire my brech AR. |

Anything with Breach in front of it usually has a lot lower DPS than any other weapon - so other players stealing kills isn't associated so much with Rate of Fire, they're just out-DPSing you.
Switch to an Assault SMG, trust me =D |

I have no problem with my breach AR and I do understand that I am indeed sometimes out-DPS'd to death. However when I have been pounding this heavy to death for at least 4 seconds and an SMG comes in and manages to put 2 shots in between my supposed-to-finishing shot, they receive the kill for far less effort and less total damage dealt.
It's really about the ability to place shots before others. |
