Quote:12 Sep YC 115 IGÇÖm sad to report that today I experienced some clone soldiers carrying through with a plan to undermine the concerted strength of the Matari militia. It seems some soldiers under the pretense of fighting on behalf of the Matari militia in an effort to defend a district were in fact planning to use there presence to limit the number of effective soldiers deployed. By this I mean, they did absolutely nothing. In fact they gloated about it in unit comms just prior to being deployed planetside. Upon entering the war room I linked up with a squad that needed more soldiers, and I saw that Volvar was in Carbon 7 whom IGÇÖve come to learn is a Matari militia supporter GÇô so I thought surely this was the squad to join. A mistake as upon joining the following was transmitted, all comments came from Zaria Min Deir and Big Popa Smurff GÇô though the other two didnGÇÖt say anything IGÇÖve certainly found evidence they participated in this traitorous act. GÇ£Minmatar scum,GÇ¥ followed by GÇ£Prepare to be awoxed,GÇ¥ which was then reiterated by someone transmitting GÇ£Yeah!GÇ¥ Awox(ing, ed) is a term used by capsuleers generally that refers to pilots who join the militia and use this relationship to engage other members within the militia with less sever penalties by Concord. Quickly after these comments I was kicked from the squad and access to link with comms and tactical feeds of this squad were locked. Pilots in question shown below.
- Zaria Min Deir, Ancient Exiles
- Big Popa Smurff, Ancient Exiles
- Spec Ops Cipher, Seraphim Initiative..
- Volvara, Carbon 7
I very much wanted to keep any eye on these soldiers after the suspect messages came across, unfortunately doing so would have kept me out of the fight and not able to support the squad I had joined after being kicked by the aforementioned. I did take a look at the locator beacons for our soldiers on the ground and often saw several sitting within the safety of our initial deployment zone, not far from the MCC (Mobile Command Center) not fighting. Now I canGÇÖt very that it was them, but after the battle I pulled the statistical information from the MCC communications officer (Much information is recorded through dropsuit sensors and verbal reports up to MCC).To my dismay Zaria and Volvar had engaged and killed not a single enemy soldier, while Spec Ops and Big Popa between them had killed a total of 5 enemy soldiers. I know these types and am quite certain that they only had those kills as they couldnGÇÖt stand to let an opportunity to kill someone go by.
I was given a brief statement from Capsuleer CEO StineControl that Carbon 7 is not necessarily aligned with the Matari militia, it seems some can do as they wish as far as clone contracts. I was very disheartened to hear this, but I asked knowing it was a strong possibility.

Sadly we should come tp expect this sort of thing the easy counter is to either do the same back or simply field more troupes so the effected is lessioned. Sadly in my short time here iv already leared corps are very bad at keeping their own members in check |

I'd rather we get more battle efficent clones than to do what they do. At the end of the day there's nothing we can do but try to make up for the clones that don't wish to help. Practice till we get it and probably stick together more like a pack of wolves. More teamwork between a squad. Sure voice comms work but a squad that stays in a pack is a lethal squad and with comms on. Woo it would be a masteepiece. That's something I wanna acheive with a squad. Close knit, something watching left, right, in back and in front.
Sorry I had a little rant haha |

Sounds like a plan! I'm just waiting for my new electronics in my suit. It broke the other day, so I have to wait for a new one to come in. This one will have fans in it that keep your body cool during battles. Shall be a new experience.

What do you expect from these space monkeys?
If it was not for Amarr, the Minmatar would still be scribbling on rocks and eating ants with sticks. |

We already had space travel and lived on several planets before your people found us. For all anyone could know now, if you hadn't enslaved us we could be more advanced than your people currently are right now. |

This is something I think all soldiers should be trying to achieve - small group tactics, specialization, team work, patience, coordination, et cetera. Unfortunately it seems there are quite a few clone soldier using the term lone wolf to describe themselves, I think this mostly vanity and ego - I could certainly be wrong. I would prefer to be sharing a meal and drinks with my comrades over a victorious battle than gloating with an associate about my ability to down large numbers of clones. The more solidarity that grows with any cause will surely nullify the efficiency of these lone wolf killing machines.
Admittedly I have joined many squads to be disappointed by a squad leader (SL) that was actually only interested in taking credit for the overall performance of the squad ((SP/WP leach)), fortunately easily solved - new squad.
I've been meaning to keep better notes post battle to gleam more insights into these battles, these discussions help.

@bigpoppasmurff&specops Be glad I'm not the type to stoop to your level and "awox". I'd rather just kill if I see you. |

I can understand this in circumstance, I generally opt to use easily replenishable drop-suits and equipment and take local security contracts in lieu of a militia contract. Sorry for not being clear there.

The closer to death you are the more alive you feel. They aren't quality mercenaries. If you take a contract you should carry it out, otherwise any repercusions that follow are deserved whether it be a consequence of reputation or retaliation by the client or even another group who would feel wrong by such actions or lack there off. |
