Why cant this be set right? So the Mass Driver is still the go to weapon and now its the lightsaber of death. I mean come on guys. This is just getting downright annoying. One guy, one kill either pop two shots into you or a guy swinging the laser rifle, turning you into a bbq skewer from a distance. My assault rifle doesn't have the same reach, ever. So you get a few clowns running a few heavies, mass driver and laser and there is no way you're going to win a match. It just doesn't matter. It doesn't. You increase shields, armor or light damage modifier, it just doesn't matter. Also what happened to the militia assualt rifle? A few shoots with that and your toast. I have an advance suit and I'm toast. I rank up at the top only for my drop uplinks and nanohive services, that's it. Just so damn frustrated.  It's either feast or famine ... and if you're lucky enough to have skill points on what's flub at whatever patch came out you'll do well.

LOL! Increasing shields don't help when you just stand there!!! Don't you see the blue glow? Keep strafing!
Move to your left, fire some rounds, heavy is quiet, that tells you he's tracking you, quickly move to the right, continue firing, add a bunny hop, heavy tries to move closer, toss a nade, continue fire and heavy drops line a bass line from Tech Itch track.
I don't know about you but when I see a heavy, I laugh. There's nothing his fat ass can do to stop me. And if he did, congratulations. But beware that I've adapted and I will hunt you down for my payback.

So you complain about your AR not having the reach of a laser rifle but also complain milita ARs kill too quickly. I dont get what you want, a buff for just you? But apart from that I sympathize with you honestly I do I mean people using more than one type of weapon in a FPS! This game is clearly not COD enough the correct way to do it is to have 1 or 2 weapons so OP its anyone not using them is given a huge disadvantage. |

There's about a 10m range bracket in which the Laser Rifle can outperform an AR. If your enemy has a Laser Rifle and is in that bracket, MOVE. ARs have longer effective and maximum range than Lasers, AND are better in close. It doesn't matter which direction you move, just as long as you move out of their preferred range doing it. |

Well Dude, I dont know what to tell ya man, its either adapt or die, look for tactics to either avoid these guys or snipe them, thats just it. (If your dealing with a LR, go upclose, its nothing more then a fance oversized flashlight at close quarters, as for the mass driver, either kill them at long ranges or sneak up behind him, going up super close is also effective if your a shield tank as the splash will hit him too!) |

I said war tactics, son. You can employ them to succeed. Yet, there was a time where men with swords met on a designated battlefield, meeting face to face with their opponent and death. Learn your history instead of thinking so close minded.
Ducking from fire...like war. Understanding flanking positions and team communication...like war. Knowing when to call in the Calvary...like war. Specializations...like war. Intel required to defeat the enemy...like war.

What changed with the AR? That is what I'd like to know? I have the Dren AR and I might as well throw grapes at my opponent. I come out on top most times, but not for my kills, at least not anymore. I run logi with prototype uplinks and nanohives. That's were most of my warpoints dome from. Just seems like the Dren AR is useless now.

Well maybe you should use a better weapon? For example if you are fighting against allot of guys in proto fitting a better weapon may help a little. Also I assume the Dren has the same stats as the STD and therefor toxin and exile and well I have a cheap fit with an exile on and I still do just fine for kills and I have a grand total of 0sp invested into AR's so its not like standard AR's are super inferior compared to any other weapon.
Anyway earlier in this topic didn't you claim MLT ar's kill too fast and now your claiming you cant kill with a standard? I dont normally do this kind of thing but maybe you need to stop blaming your equipment and wonder why you personally are failing. |

why dont you use cheaper equipment and use a better gun. dont cross into open ground when there's a laser about. instead call in your free lav you got with your elite mercenary pack, drive towards em, jump out and kill em in CQC. if its a mass driver then get higher then em.. even its on a hill or raised platform. the MD user will find it harder to hit you

Lol. I faceroll with my Dren. Although I usually use the Exile cos I don't like the dren's skin, but it's the same gun so whatever.
I've got operation 4 into AR, and that's it. No proficiency here. |
