Lets say for a minute that we fill out the the line of combat rifles in the next update or so. Lets say we get the Minmatar Combat Rifle, what is it going to do the the rifle category? What do you think the stats are going to be and how where will its role be? LR is a medium-long range, the scrambler rifle is medium ranged and I would imagine the AR we have now would be short medium range. If the AR changes are we going to be able to handle that? |

Projectile tech will be high DPS out to effective range, further than blaster tech, but lesser than laser, and significantly more so than rail. |

The the PlasmaRifles are keeping their stats and Combat rifles will have a longer optimal range.
Let the QQ commence.
And ARs don't have too much range when you think about it. Scrambler rifles need a bigger buff to optimal range (not Ast. Scr) but combat rifles will operate around the range of the burst assault rifle, chances are a little bit more. |

Will the AR we have now have an effective range decrease? The LR needs a wider optimal and the Scrambler seems dead on to me. The AR would have to have a smaller optimal to allow for the CR. I am curious what the RoF and DPS is going to be. I am not an AR hater but I would like it to have a disadvantage. |

I want more of a divide in the ranges, to me they seem too close I am happy with the damage and RoF for the most part but the ranges are too similar for me. If you want a longer range blaster equip a module or change ammo. I like that method and it would be fun here if we had it here.

In EVE blaster tech is utterly devastating up close, but if your opponent gets out of your range you are in a tough spot. |

I would love to see it hear so we would have to choose out engagement ranges. It is too bland right not in that department. |

Eve tech is rather simple, blasters **** up close but outside optimal you cant even scratch paint, Rails do decent damage at optimal and can do damage even if you are right ontop of the target (though being that close your a most likely dead) Projectile have a high rate of fire and extreamly high alpha but have to reload more than any other weapon, and lazer has the second longest range but a strong alpha, they also mainly do EM damage. |

Yes, that is what we need to have in the rifles. They are too similar. |
