"open to the public "as opposed to a private or competitive match.
If you mix competitive game-play with public matches, that never is going to end well. This is one of the areas where CCP inexperience with FPS games really shows. |

Hmm? This thread doesn't make a whole lot of sense. There will always be players playing competitively in public matches. Theres absolutely nothing CCP can do about that, it happens in every FPS game. Perhaps I've misunderstood what you're trying to say. |

I talking about "Organized Squads from Corps" joining Public matches in a Competitive way. Isn't that obvious ? |

That rule actually applies to RPG games too, specially MMO's. So... lets just say that you aren't very experienced with games in general. |

Yes, thats the part I did understand. You're completely insane if you think that'll never happen. CCP can't do away with it either unless they get rid of the option to squad up. Which would make this game terrible, being that you wouldn't be able to play with your friends. Not to mention the fact that maybe they aren't playing in a competitive way, but they're just better than you and your team. That happens.
I'm not sure if you're trolling here or have no FPS experience. All FPS games have competitive people squading or teaming up in public matches. Its just the way they work. If you play any other FPS games you will come across teams destroying your brain-bits just like you do here in Dust. |

oh i am actually a very experienced gamer. what i didn't get was your wording. It sounded like your saying we shouldn't get competitive over a game. i am competitive if i solo or run in squads. yes people will run in squads it makes the game more enjoyable and makes the game what it is supposed to be. About support. |

Ok... is not that hard. Public matches are only for Casual and solo play, squads are not allow to join, BUT they are allow to form in the ready room, you understand that, right ? Faction Warfare and Planetary Conquest are ONLY for squads, solo play is not allow.. you can understand that too, right ?

Just see Domination and Ambush as Training Game modes to improve your skills. And Skirmish is where the REAL action happens. |

But that is not what the game modes are designed for. If you don't want to squad then you are knowingly disregarding the aim of this game so don't blame others for wanting to experience the game to the full potential. Sorry but i see no logical reasoning for this argument so...

Really ?
-Domination; One null cannon, it teaches you how to defend and attack positions. How to push back the enemy or break through their defenses.
-Ambush; It teaches you how to work with you team mates to win a match.
Both game modes helps you to understand what you need to do in Skirmish.

So did I, but the presence of persons such as yourself tends to convince me otherwise.
Another 'squads OP' thread, huh? Make some friends and play the game with them. Or realise that there's more than one way to play this game, and stop whinging. |

Erm... sorry to burst your bubble but i think it is the other way round. They are different game modes. Any game mode can teach you what you need to do if your in a squad and actually are willing to learn. you can just as easily set up defensive positions in ambushes.
bottom line - if you don't want to squad then fine, but as you are refusing to play the game to its full potential you have no right to blame others who do want to experience its full potential.

FW is a less public more competitive game type and PC is private. The description seem to make sense to me. I know when I hit public it if for anyone but if I push FW it is going to be harder and less open to the general public. Much like low security space. |

This is all just alotta blah blah blah until the first PvE version comes out. And then there's PC and FW...
I imagine when those three things come together, public will become more of a testing ground.
I enjoy Dust but I wish it had stayed Beta until more features had been rolled out. Maybe then we wouldn't be at each others throats. |

I think there should be an Internet Forum Posting Certificate, if you are intelligent enough to pass a relatively simple test this certificate would be in your browser allowing to post on forums, comment boxes, etc.
In order to make sure that everyone's voice is heard, those without certificates would use an application that would try to decipher the meaning of their gibberish. If the gibberish was still unintelligible an actual human would be needed to try and coax a complete thought fit for human discussion out of said individual.
There would be a disclaimer describing which level of help was needed to bring the thought up to normal human standard.
If after all of this assistance the results are not satisfactory. A disclaimer where their post would be just says NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
