With the introduction of progressive SP bonus for logging in daily. If a player misses a day you should have the option to spend AUR to "fix" or "correct" the missing day so the player has the ability to continue the progressive bonus. Example: Player plays 3 days but misses day 4. Upon logging in on day 5, said player sees that the progressive SP bonus will be lost. But for a said amount of AUR you can patch the missing day and continue with day 5 as if day 4 was not missed. Just my 2 isk. It works for a FTP app game on my phone. |

Anyone notice how P2W the community wants this game to be? Let me use AUR for a respec let me get all my daily activity bonus sp back even if I miss a day with AUR. How about the person who can't afford these things leave him in the dirt? |

It's not pay to win; it's just pay to fix mistakes. They get no advantage compared to someone who logs in every day. |

Thats kind of the poi t in a reward system. It would be wrong to allow a pay for reward system as it would quickly turn in to a pay to win system. Its a slippery slope and those of us who are dead set against pay to win or pay to progress will fight to tge bitter end against it. |

Isn't the exact same as using AUR to buy weapons that cost more SP than you already have? It's simply getting you more SP, sooner. It's less P2W than boosters, to be honest. |

Its hardly pay 2 win, we already have boosters, aur weapons that are no different, and aur vechiles that aren't worth their wait in coconut juice!!
But if enough poor saps are willing to pay AURUM , so that CCP hires a few more people I sure as hell wouldn't complain. Its pay for advantage not pay for win!! |

And how is this P2W? Do you suddenly get the magical ability to instawin matches because of this? THis isn't P2W. It's a completely normal system to give people some small benefits when they pay. It would be P2W if you can only get the best wapons or something like that for Aurum, but not for ISK. |

It's not a terrible idea. I just don't see it being very popular. I wonder if the revenue it generates is worth the development to code the changes and build the required UI. I run passive boosters, and sometimes active boosters, but I don't see myself buying this. I mean it's not a huge amount of SP lost when you miss a day, so they would have to be very cheap for the math to work out. |

Well if CCP had infinite resources than sure, but they've got a ton of stuff to do right now. If someone is working on this, then they're not working on something else. Let's say this suggestion brings in a few hundred bucks a month, that's probably not worth the time and effort to pull someone away from something like improving the new player experience (which is probably what the UI team is focusing on right now, at least I hope to hell they are). |
