I had one fit on a suit and had been restocking that suit for a while ( kinda thinking it was like before where it would restock only the items I needed and I had enough guns left, or go invalid when I ran out of that gun / pop up a message asking to confirm if I wanted to buy them for AUR) Since it would be a first time AUR purchase of that item. Apparently not, and I've been unwhittingly siphoning away my AUR on something I never meant to go. GGCCP TL;DR CCP is very sneaky and those "free AUR" laser rifles were a bloody trap. Well played. I feel like the interface could have dealt with this more fairly ... IF they'd wanted it to.

I know I should have known. But somebody else might not. Plus I don't actually restock things very often or I do it in odd ways. But imagine some new Dust Player is a Tanker. They buy standard tanks a lot. Then CCP mails them 5 "Free AUR tanks". They make a fitting with one of them and use it. Then they go to restock all their tanks, and forget/don't realize that it's going to pull from AUR to replace those AUR tank fittings. 300 AUR a pop, 100 fittings = 30,000 AUR = about $ 15.00 USD. I'd be pissed. Granted whatever this mistake cost me was in the 1-3 dollar region and so I'm not mad about the financial aspect of it, so much as the fact that it would let you do this so easily.
