How would these in game range graphics work? A rangefinder on the sights of a rifle/sniper rifle/HMG/SMG that has white letters for in range and red for out of range? |

Just toss it into the Show Info on the weapon, really. |

Its amazing how much basic info is lacking on weapons, it was only recently that the damage AV grenades do was added, and its about time basic info like optimal range was added as well, and useful info like how a weapons dmg is broken down, for example a laser says 17dmg but its certainly not per second, so what is it? per 100ms or 500ms?
CCP needs to pull the finger out and set an intern on the job of adding in important info that devs don't have the time to fiddle with. |

I've wanted ranges on the weapons for a year now... others a bit longer.
WarRavens created a table back in the end of closed/beginning of open beta for weapons and ranges.
So it is missing the new weapons, and ARs were adjusted slightly. but most of it still works. it's still up on their website. |

Basically to find DPS you use this formula:
DPS = Damage (per shot) multiplied by Rate of Fire (rounds per minute) divided by 60 (seconds)
So, a Duvolle Assault Rifle would look like this:
467.5 = 37.4 x 750 / 60 (12.5) |
