Does it not sound like it makes more sense than whatever the current magical formula is? Have free for all type and then break it down to the remaining four. Oh and have payouts reflect the theirs.tell me why not? |

While it sounds easy on the surface, it just won't be feasible with the amount of different fitting you can have. What parameters do you give it? One piece of complex gear, and you have to roll with proto squads? |

I shall quote the famous dev, Nullabor.
"Ifeth we implementeth thy gear matchmaking, then thy player base stand divided"
I would prefer using this forum of MMing, but what we have seems to work, so I think it's ok. |

Its simple
Low risk low reward only STD level SUITS allowed
Medium risk medium reward only ADV level SUITS allowed
High risk high reward no restrictions
Balancing is done by suit fitting capabilities through their CPU and PG values.
You can fit a duvolle on that STD suit but at what cost? or you can tank out your STD suit but roll around with a low meta weapon. you see where this is going?

Thanks, this is where I was going with this as well but I don't think this concept is well received. Its to bad though as I feels its a sound idea. Just having a meta level suit cap per tier leaves only one gap.... Some one like me who has played a long time and has passive skills maxed is still going to be at an advantage over a new player that can only just barely run a standard suit and me in that same suit will have 25% more shield and armor and do 10% more damage. Shot a hole in my own plan.
