would work like an assault rifle but with larger magazines than an assault rifle, higher rate of fire, and faster reloading than a heavy machine gun, but smaller magazine, lower rate of fire, and longer reloading than an assault rifle.

There is such thing as a Dust LMG, and it's the Gauss Rifle. Long range, low ROF, somewhat high damage, 60-150 round mags. |

There's already 1. Its the Krin's Sin-7 Officer AR; it has a 90 round magazine. Having one like you described would be cool too. |

thats a good example actually. maybe 100-120 rounds even and increased range but decreased hip fire accuracy |
