Agreed. No point in giving someone to whom the update does not apply a respec just because. I'm also glad you said "to those said items".

I wonder if CCP has the ability to look at what exactly people has skilled into, because if so, maybe they should have the chance to respec into their racial rifles, like if they have most of their SP into Caldari or WInmatar suits, they can respec if they want into the Combat or Rail Rifles.

If they offered a respec for vehicle users here's how I see it playing out: 1. "OMG WTF the new vehicles stats are garbage." 2. Petition for respec. 3. "Glad I got that respec, time to spec into Caldari Heavy with Super Duper Rail Rifle. All in baby!" 4. New vehicles are now considered OP. 5. Starts whining for another respec.

Got ganked by some rookies after that :). Took them 5 sec to loose it... But the worse the battle the more fun it is.

Haha, i turned around and i saw Ansiiis....@few feet away .... instantly scanned for to see if you had a shotgun /Check "Panics"...then i went ape on the trigger and overheated the gun and the rest is gonna be a pleasant memory for a chuckle down the road :) GG

These aren't just new weapons, they are the core racial assault weapons (assuming 1.5 is the Combat Rifle and Rail Rifle). If you're a big Minmatar players or Caldari player and wanted to do an assault fit, your options were either to go Gallente Assault Rifle or Amarr Scrambler Rifle, or tough it out with a militia weapon keeping yourself severely handicapped. Still, I think we should wait until more core content is available before we do the respec.

If you want to try something new, then do so. Do it like any new palyer would and start putting SP towards it. No matter what the SP you have already used will help you anyway. Besides, it is just a cheap way to get all the lvl 5 skills you want quickly, and then use new SP on lower level skills. Just save up.
