Funny thing about that. How many people feel the same way and have already left? A single game patch is supposed to improve a game, not force people to leave. If you think the latter, who do you want this game to be fair and fun for? Everyone or just yourself?

Why does it matter if it was posted in 2009 or 2013? That content was posted on the internet and being so CCP knew fully well it was gonna be taken as their point of view. OP is just merely referring back to when CCP told it's player base what was what.

Well you see thats all about perspective, you can never satisfy everyone, you never will, but this is their game, they are telling you that ultimately, its their house their rules, obviously they have chosen to take the game down a new path, the people who should ultimatley LIKE the game is the devs!!

This their project, their time and effort and basically if you don't like the new order of things, thats your problem, thats not to say that they wont make adjustments in the future, are even next month, but ultimately its down to them, I mean what wouldmthe game consist of if CCP had pandered, to all the whiners in the forums, ifmthe MD got nerfed, if tanks were removed. Would you be happy? Who would you blame if you weren't , yourself, or the devs who struggled to fit the bill only to find you moved the goal posts, again?

Games that are persistent in nature always have to take the hard line with their communities, because sometimes we complain about complete and utter tosh!! Persitent games have 1 problem games like COD, or BF3 will never have, and thats having to involve the community in the development of the game!!

You think those producers spent years beta testing, with hundreds of people or with 50 people over a period of 3 months, do you think the producers of COD will ask some whiny little kid on there forums how the game should be done, or do they just a select few of the finest, upstanding and loyal customers to there product?

Its about high time these devs got respect, for the hard work they do!! And if all you can provide is cynical negativity you aren't welcome here!!

The video was great in 2009. Got me and a bunch of other fans onto planes bound for Iceland. Good times, noodle salad.

Everyone will take thier own message from the meme but for me, personally, HTFU became a reminder to not stress so much about the minutiae of day to day game development. Focus on quality progression over time. And when you just keep gettin proto stomped and have bad games and want to QQ on the forums about everything....HTFU and push on through.
