So, his exactly is the end of a match determined for "MCC DESTROYED"? Cuz as far as I can tell, either MCC can have anywhere from 5 nodes left to a little less than none in some matches and both seem to be considered destroyed. The less than none I get, but if there are 5, 6, 7 Noether's many nodes left, why does the match end stating the MCC has been destroyed??? |

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, could you clarify? |

I assume it's because sometimes you expect one side to win but then suddenly the opposite mcc blows up. It's a bit hard to tell which side is going to win and it can feel a bit random at times. |

Well what mode are you talking about? In domination the single null cannon does several bars if damage at once, and in Skirmish if one side controls several null cannons, they can come back quickly and steal a victory at the end.
Also, I disapprove your use of the word "node" for the life bars. I don't think any definition of the word works and is what us causing most of the confusion. |

I too wish this information was made a bit more clear for players. It really seems like the amount of damage being done by the cannons fluctuate, and the amount of "ticks" or "bars" left for the losing team varies pretty heavily from match to match. I've have matches where Blue team has 3 objectives and Red team has 2, and both have 3 bars of health left... RED TEAM VICTORY. uh, wut?
Other times, Blue team will have 3 and Red will have 2 for 5+ minutes and only get one or two bars ahead. Red team flips an objective and 30 seconds later are ahead by 3 or 4 bars.
How is this damage determined, because it's really inconsistent and sometimes seems to all get applied in short bursts.
Seems like each objective is actually firing single shots that do actual damage to the MCC. My guess is that the objectives can sometimes all get in sync with one another, so they all hit at once (or close to) and the damage comes in short spurts. When this happens, even if you hold all the objectives during the "lull" you're not really getting any damage applied to the enemy MCC, and if the enemy manages to snag them before the "barrage," even for just a few seconds, they get awarded all of the damage from that salvo.
This would also explain why sometimes a team will lose suddenly when they appear to still have like 20% of their armor left.
I'd really like to see a CCP response clarifying exactly how this damage is applied. |

My guess at surprise MCC damage is that it has a momentum -- so taking a null cannot appears not to instantly change around the damage situation. It seems to take time to move from the previous damage rates to the new damage rates. |

One thing to keep in mind is that each MCC are also shooting at each other doing damage, not as much as a NULL cannon, but it they still do. If you sit inside the MCC you can actually see the total health of the MCC, it is just like any other unit in the game it just has a massive amount more. In order to see the health you have to aim at the right spot inside.
Hope this helps. |

i have looked at this and i belive its down to when you hack the null cannon. The null cannons still fire on your mcc until the virus has uploaded so dependant on when the hack is made can make a differance in the number of missiles fired until the null cannon fires on the red mcc |
