It is catering not to the ones who have stuck with this game the longest, its not catering to the serious shooter, its sole aim is on the kids. Yes that is right teenagers, why you ask? Simple they have liquid assets that will not be taxed and they have nothing better to do with it. So CCP caters to them to make them feel special so they will spend there money on the game. What you got your feeling hurt because you cant win at everything, well let me see what uncle CCP can do about that. Ok here you go, I win button installed. All you have to do is push this button and move this one and guess what you win. So tell your friends and also we sell Aurum Items so they do not have to worry about leveling up or competing with other players who have been here longer and earned there stripes. So do not worry what they say, I doubt they will be around much longer. So kiddies uncle CCP loves you and believes everyone is special and deserves to win at everything. They are working on making the game commercially accessible to the PS3 market. If the choice is between a game I may not find exactly to my own preference and having the game and eventually decide it can't make any money focusing only on the hardcore "competitive wannabee" gamers -- then I'll go for having the game. Hopefully, they can adjust and tweak to the point that skill is important, newer players can enjoy the game enough to stay, CCP can make enough money to keep the game running... and the greater game concepts start showing up so that there is more than just the FPS core of the game in place. I guess we'll just have to wait 10 years and see how things play out.

I've been playing this game a long time and almost no-one wins this a 'recruiter assault rifle' or any other of the equivalent lv1 AUR versions. It can't be a pay to win if you are gaining no advantage by not having to A) Buy a skill book, B) Put one skill point into a weapon, C) Use said weapon, Unless you are referring to the higher tiered weapons and their AUR versions? which are again, LV4/5 weapons you can use at lv3 - no clear advantage there either apart from when you die using it - you are wasting real cash..

Tho with AA on I'm definitly getting more kills than before. So do I care about noobs getting a hand? Not at all. cause I rather have a team of decent randoms rather then a bunch of total noobs. And with that it makes it FUN. And having fun is what keeps players in. and that keeps it away from some NERD ONLY inclusive D&D kinda game. it's called niche I don't speak french. **

If you think first person shooters need to be on that level than you don't have enough troubles in the real world.

This patch has seen the elimination of the jack rabbit bunny hopping and the introduction of some far more complex maps than what you see in COD, BF and Crysis. This is a clear response that CCP is listening to some people and not others, yes some of the ideas are from vets and others from noobs, but it has made a better game.

Sorry no offense to us older gamers, but this a game made for teens and young adults. So in a way it should cater to them. Mind you nothing wrong with us older guys that have played games since we were younger but that is the economic world we live in. Money talks. I can see your point that it is frustrating but as the old men of the gaming world we should be able to adapt. That's what makes us the stronger part of the weak society your talking about.
