1.4 was initially a disappointment to many of us. There were great things about it but most things were at first negative. I for one overreacted to the changes, but after a few days and the patch, 1.4 is really starting to grow on me.-á

Although I did have to find a new niche of play style, I am enjoying the changes. There's no doubt strategies have changed and with that I have adapted. After trying out different fits and tactics I stumbled on something spectacular I feel may be the future of this game, or at least 1.4. This tactic involves using one of my wife's hairbands to hold the left ds3 analog stick in place and standing in a corner of the mcc. I've heard of a similar tactic used but with rubber bands instead. However I've found that hairbands are generally less taught and are easier on the stick. I'm not usually one to cry "OP" but in this case I really do feel this tactic may be a bit game breaking. I have not died a single time using this tactic. Not once.-á

Despite that my newfound play style is a bit over powered, I really do see how it balances out the negatives of 1.4. Not to mention the multitasking that can be done. I'm afraid my happiness might be short-lived, though. CCP could very well send me back to my old play style with a few changes. But I am optimistic that I'll be able to continue like this. I am enjoying this game more than ever with 1.4

nice to see you have adapted foxbat, hows your new adventure coming along, mine is **** haven't been able to play proper since 1.4 my ps3 keeps messing up in the merc quarters,
I to had an adaptive playstyle, it involves turning the ds3 being turned upside down and placed on the floor with enough force so as to keep the sticks pressed down.

also a piece of play dough like substance placed on the stick can keep the input at half instead of full, nerf that ccp
