Back in the days they were practically blaster turrets. Around 500 rpm with high damage I can't remember much now.

Idk what happened to them but I do know the major drawbacks, reduced range and lower dps, is not offset by the tighter hip fire. They definitely need some lovin. That being said, I think they are actually closest to what a gallente AR should be like, based on my limited knowledge of new eden lore stuffs.

Breach does not suck, however it got worse comparatively due to aim assist making high DPS weapons overly accurate, it's actually a decent weapon in the right hands. The burst AR is the only bad kind. It was once very fun but now?

i picked up the proto AR yesterday, i like them alot. I like 3 out of 4 variants, all but the breach. Asked around and found they used to be the best weapon of dust? what were they like back then and what happened to make them so worthless now?

i use the credron breach ar and its beast. you can beat the **** out of duvolles. except the only downside to the breach AR's is that thier effective range is low but your damage is enough to quickly drop and suit within 30 and lower meters.

Back in closed beta, Breach ARs used to be laser-accurate, had higher damage per shot than any other AR, and was barely short of their fire rate. At the time, there were no maximum ranges, and ARs had a higher-zoom sight than the ones on the Tac and Burst ARs now. They also didn't have damage modifiers for infantry weapons against vehicles, so a handful of Proto Breach AR users were capable of taking down a Militia HAV without using any AV weaponry.

Because they were pretty much the ultimate game-breakingly OP weapon of forever, they got nerfed so hard they're still feeling it.
