I asked Shotty GoBang last night about this, and he said he hasn't experienced it. I cannot be the only one. When in my scout suit and shotgunning, I like to do a little technique I like to call the "dunk." I sprint in, jump to get elevation, and fire down at the enemy head/center of mass. Often, whilst dunking, if I'm within melee range, while hitting R1 instead of firing, I get sucked in and do a melee attack, as to which shortly after I spaz and shotgun them. Now, this is pretty cool because I get a nice 1-2 if they don't see me. However, it has gotten me killed quite a many times. I'm trying to determine whether this is just my controller doing something very bizarre or if it's an ingame thing.
Anyway, if anyone wants a video of it I'll post one later, I did it a bunch of times in a match last night. It makes me look more badass with the combos than I actually am. |

I actually do that quite often too, especially when trying to surprise enemies waiting for me around the corner. Not only does it look awesome, it's also awesome when you land a headshot on the poor red dots and quickly dispatch them as they scramble to shoot back at you in confusion. |

It is pretty bad ass when it happens, not going to lie. If it was a predictable feature, I'd upgrade that hand to hand skill. |
