I would like to know what is the general opinion of the community in regards to adding music to Dust.
I remember there was sort of a "music" during the actual combat but it was removed later on.
I personally would like to have it back, and the interesting thing is, if people don't want to hear it, they can just turn it off under the options, so it's optional (!) and that's always a good thing, everybody wins (I think).
But anyway, what do you guys think? Is it a good or bad idea? |

It would be dope if CCP recruited the guys from the Mass Effect music team to work out some music or let us import custom playlists from our PS3 consoles so we can play the Mass Effect music or David Guetta, LMFAO, Barney theme song...you know, the good stuff ;)
*ahem, sings* I love you, you love me, when you go boom I'm so happy, with a dropped remote explosive and a kill up on my screen, that's why I play Dust 514 haha |

Step 1: upload music to PS3 Step 2: Load Dust 514 Step 3: PS button Step 4: Music> Playlists> Play Music Step 5: Get up out of your chair and rock out while Shooting people in the face
My current belief is that my interests in music are more varied and entertaining than what CCP will put into their games, having played Eve which had both the game songs and a customizable soundtrack, media player is much easier and more efficient to use as are your music capabilities on your PS3.
If CCP allowed us to stream music and video through Dust 514 for our viewing/listening pleasure I think it would be worthwhile. Then I could listen to Eve-radio on my PS3 while playing Dust or look at a tutorial video on youtube made by any number of members in the community enjoying that I can stay logged in instead of switching to the Youtube app on my ps3 to watch them. |
