With 1.4 CCP has single handedly screwed up a tactical gear based shooter and turned it into a FOTM lobby shooter were your expensive choices no longer matter unless you can afford to spec into logi/heavy...
Correct me if I'm wrong especially on the part about shield regulator or energizers and tactical low slot modules. ..
Well I run a mini assault with 460 ehp, an enhanced armour repair, an enhanced plate, 2 enhanced extenders, and a sheild energizer, and an md, I have been doing much better in 1.4 despite I havent got hit detection fixes or aim assist explain that? |

There is no god damn aimbot, trust me, I took aim assist off and owned more than with it on. I used every weapon which got it, its incredibly subtle actually, I doesnt grab your barrell and point it at the enemy, it doesnt majically curvwmbullets round corners.
You wanna know whats really happening? A combination of hit detection and lag compensation, ccp need to check the lag protocols because it feels sometimes like the hitbox is trailing much like the sonic boom on a jet, clarification on this matter would be appreciated |

And it's caused by improved hit detection more than Aim Assist. I'm running exactly the same assault suit i was in 1.3: Mini Adv Assault, 2 cmplx SE, 1 adv Light damage mod, 1 adv sheild reg, 1 adv Armor repper, exile, flaylok, M1 nades, hives. My numbers have actually improved but there's a lot more ducking behind cover and waiting for the recharge. And no more 'walk of the drunken master' across vast open spaces =( I know it was totally goofy and unrealistic, but i was proud of my skill and covering 150m while under multiple sniper fire was a fun minigame.
The drunken master!! I love that move on tekken 3, joking aside, I too am glad to see the end of the texan 2 step!! |

Aim assist doesntvtrack for you, its the damage of the rifles, they are the new fav weapon because of there undeniable power, I dont brick tank I only have 460 ehp, which was low by 1.3 standards, I am now owning more than 1.3 with the md, because I play to my weapon strength, my suit strengths and I think further than I can see!!
1.4 is good for the game but ttk needs to mbe reduced by 20% on HROF weapons!! |

It may not track for you but it sure dose for me, try using a Laser Rifle, its REALLY noticabe when the laser shoots out at a 15 degree angle from the barrle of the gun and follows a target without me moving the gun.
I have tried it, with the laser rifle, I got the free ones from the event, still havent seen it, still waiting, tried it without it and the aiming is still improved!! If seeing is believing, I sure as hell aint believing in aimbot!! |

You're wrong, I have two very good Proto shield tankers in my corp, and both of them were kicking as much ass as before. Your reactions are knee jerk at best. Adapt to the changes a little more, then see if you feel the same in a week or too. +1 this comment I completely agree

Look I realise some thing is up, I asked ccp to check the lag compensation,mm and hitboxes, but apart from that, the only problem is ar being a little too powerful!!
Its not aim assist, but when people seem to blindly blaim aim assist it just gets on my nerves!! I have tested it myself and seen nothing anyone else has claimed!!
Saying that, Ill apologise I have indeed read some of your help in the training grounds, and benifited from them myself, I was looking forward to posting in the training grounds!! Lets stop bickering, agree to disagree on the finer points, and see if ccp can explain what is causing the irregularities!! |

True but ccp have explained to us the problem they are having and basically the ui is having trouble with permissions and is allowing the devs to run getter and setter commamds!!
This means they have to deleve deep into the base code in order to fix the problem!! |
