Hi all
I have been trying all week to download the new update 5.05 on my PS and only get to 40% before it stops.
Is there maybe some problem with my PS ??
Is there maybe somewhere on the internet where I can download and transfer to my PS ??
Please let me know.

The patch is only 3 days old, but i would guess that the problem lies on your internet connection, are you connected via wifi perhaps?

I too had huge problems downloading this patch. just curious Comcast? South East coast?
It finaly went through after multiple attempts, however I get booted more then I ever have in the past. |

I am UK based and run on a wifi connection and downloaded the patch just fine, that said the matchmaker seems worse then yesterday |

All the data is saved on the Tranquility servers and your PSN account. Re installing will do nothing but refresh the game files, thus most likely helping your problem. |

Your saved data is just your settings, everything else is server side with CCP.

On top of everyone else's comments, the saved data is saved as a separate file from the game install, so you won't lose your settings either. Unless you go to the "saved data" part of your PS3 and delete that too. |

This is exactly what I was going to say.
I have 2 PS3s and when I loaded the game on the second one (after an month of playing on the first one), all my characters and stuff were there, so now I can play on either and my stuff is up-to-date on both.
I think you should be ok.
