On the new Gallente sockets at their road entances (where they have them), there are 2 small bollards that seem to be for restricting any vehicle traffic.
My problem, and its only a slight one, is that when moving towards said entrance, they are the last things to render...
This has caused me when in a vehicle to get stuck, and on a few occations to take substantial dmg because of invisable or suddenly apearing posts.
Thanks to any devs that have a look in. |

I love their presence though, it gives players a refuge from cars to work with. |

Sounds like an LOD issue.
Do you happen to know if it was on any specific socket or just all of them? |

The main Research Outpost definitely has those little blocks on each of the main gates. |

My experiance was with the smaller sockets... not on a singular map. It was definetly more than one type of socket tho... |

Answered this in another thread. It's the LOD. The LAV's move so fast that these objects aren't having enough time to load in fast enough. |

Awesome, thankyou
Dont know if this helps, but the delay was enough in a few circumstances for me to hit them in my HAV... and not at full speed Just as an idication of the time frame
edit: you can see the rest of the socket becoming more detailed even as your right next to them... and then poof bollards |

After they torched my LAV (while invisible), I approached them with another LAV much slower (like, walking speed slower). They did not appear until I was like ten feet away. |

i have a similar infantry related issue. It seems some of the open containers have their lip higher than the ground, resulting in getting stuck when trying ti go from open ground into the hollow containers. This is near the objective on Domination mode. To get around this, you have to jump up and over the lip to get into the container, which in the heat of battle can be costly. |
