Since the aim assist and aimbots are now active, what the hell does sharpshooter have to do with anything? Maybe I'm missing something, but I use an AR (Yeah, boo, I know) and have assault op 5, prof. 4, and sharpshooter 3. Now, Assault 5 reduces kick, sharpshooter, well, is obvious. My question is, should sharpshooter be done away with, Assault op become a different ability now that aim assist is here? I've also maxed out my SMG as well.
I'm not griping about aim assist, or aimbots, merely raising a question as to why sharpshooting is needed at this point. And if it's not, shouldn't we get our SP back from SS ability to reallocate elsewhere? |

I'm not complaining as I mentioned, I'm just wondering what the benefit of Sharpshooter and Assault 5 are now. |

The weapon still has some dispersion, and no amount of aim assist will change that. Sharpshooter lessens that.

mosstly it is hit detection me thinks , that skill is still usefull, dont know by head , but with that skill you shoot further too? and do more damage at more range? |

They plan to remove ss completly, as it makes weapons operate outside there expected roles to well! Operation should either be mag size, ads zoom level, or max ammo, the kick doesnt need reducing anymore!! |

Where did you hear that?
Also, I trust if they do, we'll be refunded our SP, since I have quite a bit tied up in it between 2 weapons. |

Shouldnt I get my SP back for my scout suit? that profile dampenign dosent protect me at all with Active scanners pining me ever 2 sec, not to mention scouts cant servive a stiff wind now let alone the Aimassist massacures going on. KinKat assults are my scouts now. |

By using a couple of profile damoners and skilling your dropsuit electronics you get your scout down to about 15db after that there is only 1 scanner that will be able to see you, and only for about 3 secs!! |

For Odins sake there is no ******* aimbot. Hit dection got fixed and you all just qqing because match maker is putting you into fair fights and u all forgot how to use cover. Really stop the AA qq its getting old really ducking fast |

Very true there is no problem with AA, its just hit detection, however weapons which were balanced with the poor hit detection now need to be re assessed, when you can kill a heavy with a single magazine of ar, you think something is a least little fishy!! |

That much SP and CPU isn't worth it. Scout suits need a dampening buff, because they're only marginally better than a militia assault suit, despite their squishyness. |

Max out your assault rifle, and you'll hardly ever have need for a different gun. |

The ONE scanner, that can see a full dampened scout is designed to it has a scan prescion of 12db, if you have an adv scout suit, one adv dampener will suffice, people arent using proto scanners, some are using adv, most are using the flux variant! A scout can slip under the radar!
However if you want do this you should be expected to have to put in some sp, thats how it works, everyone should be doing the suit core upgrades period!!
However I agree need a buff, more stamina, more speed, a second equipment slot, and a passive scanner buff!! |

Yeah I mean there is no problem with having 4 rifle variants, per race, you still get the adaptability 4 rifles for the sp of 1, and they still do better outside their optimal then niche weapons do outside of theres!! |

Hes not saying its necessarily, aimbot, it not, but the fact is that weapins with the sharpshooter and the compensation it got for hd need to be removed, with even more hits registering 12 a sec at pinpoint accuracy, the HROF weapins are now too much!! Its time for sharpshooter to go, its time for dispersion and kick to be increased, so that people can actually miss with an auto weapon!! Aim Assist or not!! |
