A module that would allow your suit to interface with tacnet of the entire squad this does not reveal targets you spot but if a friendly picks someone up on passive scan will be seen on your tac net also.
I think we need more modules because right now most modules that are used are adding more raw hp to suits alot of shield tanked suits are adding armor for more buffer i think we need more mods that are a good use for slots that is not all hp.
Edit: this would allow a enitre squad to have shared vision if all members have one on. |

I posted a request about having a mod that would pair with an active scanner that would allow scanned players to appear to non squad members within a certain range of the person performing the scan. |

What about a status chevron that indicated that a person needs heath like a cross or a wrench or something to indicate someone is low on heath i know its not as good as having all the info then and there but it is streamlined |

Good comments on this. I think pulling the squad vision is a going to open up a lot of tactical possibilites and continue to shape the player pool into co-op action for sucess. |

Aye i understand and iam a fan of the new direction dust is on id just also like to see more variety in load outs and to be honest when this came to mind i thought it was perfect example of a useful mod that could replace hp mods.
I was hesitent to post this idea because i do like the new stealth aspect to the game and stuff like this could compromise it in a hurry, id hate to see all the constant looking around and not knowing whatts around next corners its made the game more intense. |

Best active scanner is a sniper in overwatch on coms.
The load out possibility is pretty key. I also think it makes scan dampening skills that much more important as well. |

Sniper on over watch can not be carried around with you haha, the scanner iam fairly sure can do so past walls so on so forth, so it does have its place and it lights up its victim like a fecking chrismas tree those things are more dangerous than orbitals now puts a big shoot here on the map for everybody. |

logically speaking, I think it makes more sense to have a module that broadcasts from you. not one that magically picks up stuff from other people who are not broadcasting.
In theory, thats what the "active scanner" is for.... however, that goes above and beyond just sharing your view.
It would be nice to have a passive module available to share what info you pick up through normal means.
Something like having a.. oh I dont know.. a SCOUT class? What a crazy idea. Here's a wilder one.. they might even make a specialized dropsuit and name it after that! Too bad we dont have a "scout" dropsuit. Hmm...

Well the idea of the module is high end that intergrergrated with other modules of the same type to allow a squad to have old fashinoned tacnet while that method would work its not really same thing this is for players to get info from others what you suggest is to transmit data to others which would yes fill a scout and sniper role hell perhaps a suit of that type should have one built in if they ever dicide to put on in game.
Good idea all the same it would hold a diferent role as the one i have would be suited to a fast moving group of assualts where as your version would be good for a squad with sniper over watch who are heavily invested in tanking so on so forth. |
