i think small turrets need to be a bit more accurate. With the small blaster turret i could put the dot on an enemy and fire away until i over heat and miss every shot. (unless i am doing something wrong?) i even specked into small turrets level 2 for when i gun for a pilot i seems to do better with the small missile turrets. |

Personally, i notice my gunners get better kills when using AT-1/XT-1 Cycled. I dont have stay in one spot and get explosive fire spammed suddenly without warning. Also now that i cannot see where my @ss is getting in low and close is not gonna happen anymore, making runs through archways and under pipes i shouldnt do anymore...yeah right i love flying, just wont drop anything worth more than 600k until they change the camera angle. |

i normaly run a proto scattered blaster with a cycled missle on the other side. my gunners cut through infantry armor like butter. that was untill yesterday. i may have to give them frags if this dosent get fixed. frags are ok but the proto scattered was op. not op as the forge gun though |

-Incubus- i keep running into PG problems when i run blaster and missle gunners, i usually overcome them by toning down my pilots gun. i also have trouble running 2 different weapon modules, only get one voltaic plate, tried running active heat sink and missle mod, seemed to work, but my repper is only IG-L instead of efficient. incubus needs another high slot so i can have a shield resistor... and about 1000 more armor. |

ive played with my best gunners now and they say without a doubt scattered blasters are nerfed. |

I tested them and I can tell you the hit detection for blasters is completely not working.
It could be one of several things but I fired so long at a STATIONARY sniper with scattered ions that I over heated at least 3 times.
didn't do more than 5% damage to him. Normally this should have killed him in < a second. Direct hits and spray arounds, I tried everything.
blasters are broken right now and we don't know why. Perhaps I'll do some more testing today |

proto DS blasters were OP? Because after spending 250,000 ISK on a gun, fitting it to a flying coffin, having maxed SP in turret skills and dropship skills, a person to pilot the thing and a person to max their gunner skills and shoot with the turret it was able to kill targets almost as fast as an infantry with an AR? duv or tac
That was OP? 0.- Hovering nearly still at the danger to lose 1+ million ISK from forge guns AV nades and swarms to line up shots with a scattered blaster was OP? I can kill someone faster with a militia AR and at no risk to anyone financially and no investment in skill points...

Point is blasters right now are broken. The damage was unchanged but they can not land a hit on targets they should be hitting. I'm sure if you got in an LAV and had both you and an enemy stand perfectly still you'd notice they still hurt people. Try it in a DS with everyone moving now and it's not going to put a dent in his shield anymore. Not sure what changed since 1.3 |

you have a point. my prometheus is 900k and my incubus is 1.4mil. i also die quite often from forge gunners. it just seems unfair when im laughing menacingly as my gunners get 10-20- and my record was 32/0 for my gunner. |

couple militia AV and you wouldn't be able to stay in for shots anyhow.

Did some more flying last night, controls are more responsive and forward movement is smoother, crushing people is still a viable tactic, and noone rage quits from getting crushed with a dropship. Getting used to the new angle, just gotta pay close attention to where i am on the map to keep form backing into towers and causeways. swarmers really did take a nerf, got shot at 60+ times and lost more ships to the drunken RDV pilots than AV. also, let me give a shout to all you people who love hunting the AV jerkwads, you guys are sexy when you work . |
