ARs and ScRs are more consistent and easier to use than MDs. If you say otherwise, then I do not like you. |

I'd like to think that we have 5 primary weapons that consistently work and hopefully a 6th after tomorrow's downtime. |

The LR seems to be making a comeback indeed. Although I have not died to one yet, I still find myself running for cover when engaged with a LR user at mid to long ranges. In that respect, mid-range combat seems to be the more optimal place for the LR. The lasers at those distances seem to have some sort of homing/lock-on effect.
Back on topic, the MD appears to have taken quite a hit. However, as an MD user for barely a week, I believe that the assault variant will still have a place as a decent area denial weapon for support roles. It can still be effective, but I do not see it reigning supreme as a CQC weapon when ARs can drop even a dual-tanked Logi incredibly fast. |

I've been using the MD since Chrome and I rarely tried to use it in CQC 1 v 1 situations. Keep your distance, get a height advantage, or fire from behind cover. The gun is still good, but you have to be more careful with lasers and TAC ARs ready to take your head off. |

I have to say that i have seen a lot less MD in this days after 1.4 and few more laser rifles, i'm quite happy about that. |

Cause the light blaster turret needs a buff seriously is basicly the equiv of a 50cal MG in modern day but is terrible.
I would like to see all light turrets become better than handheld weapons and become good at suppressing hostile infantry positions.
Edit i also thing that large turrets should be AV weapons that does some AOE affects to infantry.
Basicly small turrets Anti infantry and large to be AV and supression |
