Slaytanical Chaotik Serenity 15	Posted - 2013.09.04 11:54:00 - [1] - Quote As a longtime EVE player ..... well 4 years now i would just like to thank ccp for the hard work they do, as a hardcore laser rifle user since weekend one beta, the new sights are awesome. great job. DUST like eve is a living breathing machine... machines have issues sometimes always have always will. the afk autoboot function!!! AAA+ Has been needed for a long time. i salute you o7 please do not let all of the naysayers deter you.... as far as i am concerned 1.4 is top notch so far.... i have seen EVE make some spectacular changes to EVE the last 4 years i have played.. given the same time i know ccp will do the same with dust. because long after the new systems and fps'ers hit.... and all of the crybabies leave guess who is going to still be playing DUST 514? ME... i do not enjoy other fps games.. why? they are not part of the EVE Universe. i live in stone mountian georgia! just a stones throw from atlanta's ccp offices. they are hardworking, dedicared folks. keep it up. o7

It has the potential to carve out a niche for being a team-based "thinking-man's" shooter. If it continues to embrace this path, I think it will have a long future despite the competition and the challenging launch. I've played Plannetside 2, and it just feels shallow. There's little consequence to dying, the level of customization simply isn't there, you skill things up, and theres never a reason to use a "cheaper fit," or have to make tradeoffs with suit customization. If DUST can survive this difficult stage in its life cycle, I think we can look forward to a pretty great future (let's hope there's a PS4 and PC version in the works). I know I'll continue to support the game with boosters and feedback.

God, I wish they'd switch those games with the teams. Let China make the Vampire fail game and let the Americans show you how to do a combat game. We actually know how guns work.

I was just thinking yesterday about when I first started playin back in the E3 build and how it was and looked, then I was looking at it now and was like wow what an improvement. Ive had my ups n downs with this game like everyone else, but it is a badass game. Some changes we may not like or understand at the time, but in the long run its all falling into place. Keep up the awesome job CCP and please eventually bring Dust to PS4.

I had enough of it back when it was a LARP thing. That's so far from the truth, but alas no reason to get caught up in a war for something so trivial. The game has the potential to be a groundbreaking game in the world of mmo's, but it's true, the development time is astoundingly long and as all things that take a long time to become reality (cough HL3, DN, etc cough), it has it's own set of jokes and theories. Even if I am not waiting on the edge of my seat for it today, I'm sure there will be plenty of exciting avenues of gameplay in the future for me to explore. I already love the idea of gang warfare and summary executions/perma-death. Fun stuff
