I need to get to bed to be up for class tomorrow morning, but I wanted to say this before I got off for the night.
Chill. The. ****. Out.
Seriously, you guys are all making knee-jerk posts and leaping at each other's throats over this aim assist thing more than I've seen over any other issue since I got into the Closed Beta early last year.
I know it seems like we act like animals on here sometimes, but this is going further than it needs to.
There are people with opinions on both sides of the aim assist discussion, and we all need to keep in mind that people on both sides can have valid opinions and input when it comes to this issue.
Clawing at each other like rabid animals isn't going to help anything. We need to discuss this issue in an intelligent and civilized manner in order to provide the best feedback possible on this change to back up CCP's metrics and help them resolve this situation.
Please, everyone, take a step back, breathe, and let's be reasonable.

Don't worry. Everyone will be complaining about lasers being the new FotM in a few days. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying my GK-13 from a distance. |

It's not as extreme as everyone makes it out to be. Lasers, AScRs, burst ARs and SMGs are sure as hell more dangerous, but the shotgun seems to be kind of hit and miss as usual. Personally, I had to turn the damn thing off since I was never a fan of using aim-assist to begin with. It feels like someone is grabbing my barrel when I'm trying to go for headshots. I think it favors more hip firing than anything. Too bad breach ARs are still a bit underpowered without damage mods. |
